I am sitting down today and repurposing a pile of clothes that were given to me I will turn them into leg and arm warmers and neck scarves and neck cowls ....... I have a stack of xmas cartoon dvds i want to watch and just enjoy a day of sewing . It is a good way for me to sit down and destress.
I will have pics up in the morning of what I created from this lovely piles of unloved clothes ..I know the blue striped shirt is going to def be made into leg warmers and neck cowl for me :)
I recently found out that I now have to wear a leg brace all the time and i find that the legwarmers are perfect to pad it and to hide it somewhat .
Some will be given as gifts..some i will keep and the rest sold in my little Etsy store to help pay bills.
Here are pics of ones I made last year from more old sweaters and sweat shirts........... i unraveld some of the sweaters for yarn and made into hat and scarf set..........then more arm and leg warmers and smaller scraps into bags and small pursed and potholders.........

LOL - I have that potholder and denim bag. The potholder is the BEST! - I'll post that anywhere. Better than store-bought and any other handmade I've ever seen.
